Macintyre Seals Second in GB3 Hungaroring for Elite Motorsport

Will Macintyre recorded his best qualifying positions of the season before claiming a strong P2 finish in Race 1 at the Hungaroring in Budapest.

Race 1 saw Will made a lightning getaway at the start, snatching second place at the first corner, and survived intense pressure from mid-distance to record the runner-up spot.
 
Will lined-up sixth for Race 2. Despite dropping to seventh, Macintyre took the chequered flag in fifth, moving up a position on the final lap. 
 
In the partial reverse grid Race 3 Macintyre started seventh - but contact on the opening lap sent Will off track and to the back-of-the-field, requiring him to battle back through from 16th. 
 
Macintyre unluckily came home 15th - but a strong Race 1 and Race 2 leaves Will strongly in the Top-5 of the GB3 Championship standings, as he soon heads back home to Silverstone for the fifth round of the championship.
